The all-new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab range offers six new models built to conquer whatever the wilderness or urban jungle throws your way. Each ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab bakkie is forged from decades’ experience manufacturing locally-engineered bakkies that deliver durability, reliability, and capability. Now with a BOLD new approach, the ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab range features the latest in automotive design, technology, comfort, and safety.

POWER

BOLD IS UNCOMPROMISING

With a choice of a 1.9- or 3.0-litre turbo-charged diesel engine under the hood, ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab bakkies boast more than enough power to conquer mountain passes and construction sites. Whether your next BOLD adventure is a weekend offroading, a road-tripping family holiday or navigating school drop-off and pick-up, an ISUZU D-MAX will take you there.

  • The upgraded 3.0-litre Ddi engine has been optimised for more torque at lower engine speeds, superior pull-off and acceleration, significantly reduced noise levels, and optimised fuel consumption. It delivers 140 kW of peak power at 3,600 r/min, with maximum torque of 450 Nm from 1,600 to 2,600 r/min. Our 1.9-litre Ddi engine is a new powertrain added to the ISUZU D-MAX range. Replacing the 2.5-litre engines found in earlier models, it uses common rail direct injection to produce a maximum power output of 110 kW at 3,600 r/min, with peak torque of 350 Nm available between 1,800 and 2,600 r/min. The result - superb fuel economy and low running costs.

  • In addition to boosted power across the all-new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab range, you can look forward to a revised body and frame with increased strength, new front and rear suspension with a longer wheelbase, and a new wider and tougher chassis. Now with a wading depth of 800mm, water crossings are a breeze. On- and off-road performance is further enhanced by electronic rear differential lock and overall improved ride and handling.

  • Smart, ‘gradelogic’ transmission prevents over- revving and unnecessary fuel burn by ensuring that the new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab bakkies stay in the best gear for the workplace. Overall weight reduction also contributes to excellent fuel consumption at just 7.9 litres per 100km depending on prevailing conditions and driving habits(please see range brochure for more information).

  • On gravel track or smooth tar, expect a smooth, comfortable driving experience in one of the all-new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab bakkies. Noise and vibration levels are reduced thanks to added insulation and improved door seals.

  • Allowing you to fully master your work environment, the D-MAX 3.0 Ddi Extended Cab 4x4 LSE A/T features a Terrain Command Dial that allows for instant switching between 2WD-high and 4WD-high modes at speeds of up to 100 km/h.

The ISUZU Infotainment System in the all-new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab LSE models comes with a 7-inch high definition WXGA display, technology usually seen in wide-screen LCD TVs and projectors.

The full functionality of your smart phone, including navigation, integrates into the Infotainment System, thanks to Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto compatibility. Access to system features is guaranteed with continuous connectivity delivered by in-vehicle Wi-Fi.

The display cluster in the ISUZU D-MAX Double Cab, with exclusive digital gauge design, is linked to the Infotainment System to communicate driver-critical detail while reducing eye movement. As a result, the driver can perform regular safety checks without turning around.

Whether you drive on the street or off-road, our unique ISUZU Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in LSE and V-CROSS models monitors the surrounding environment for danger. Intuitive active alerts and passive safety features ensure that you are always secure.

    When a vehicle approaches in your blind spot, you’ll know-your ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab LSE displays a visual warning in the side mirrors.

  • Reversing Camera with Rear Traffic Alert

    Your ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab LSE triggers audio and visual warnings if anything approaches from left or right while you are reversing into traffic.

Throughout the all-new D-MAX Extended Cab range, ergonomics have been enhanced for all frequently-used functions. For example, the centre console between the front seats is higher and wider, making gear shifting easier.

DUAL-ZONE CLIMATE CONTROL

Dual-zone climate control provides supreme comfort in the ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab LSE models. Rear vents provide guarantee an enjoyable ride wherever you’re seated. Manual air-conditioning is standard on lower trim-levels.
